Tips for Searching Metro Reports for Issued Permits and Permit Applications

Find information about commercial and residential permits. Get up to date information about demolition delays. Search for permit information by contractor's name, owner's name, permit number, project type, street name and more. Search Metro Reports and Portland Maps for information about permits.

The quickest way to search for permit information on a Metro Report is to use Control+F (or Command+F on a Mac) and enter a search term. You can search for:

  • case number (permit number)
  • contractor name
  • owner's last name
  • street
  • project type like "addition" or "demolition"
  • more

Review residential permits information

To review residential permits information, select monthly or weekly report and choose Issued Residential Permits or Residential Permit Intakes. The reports are alphabetical by type of work proposed. Under the case number on the left is a description of the proposed work.

Projects subject to demolition delay

If the project is subject to demolition delay, it will be noted in the report. Portland Maps offers information on current permits issued on a property and recent history of Development Services permits, as well as enforcement cases on a property. A Residential Demolitions Map is available in PortlandMaps.Com.
