Inspections Scheduling System Updated to Include Details on Erosion Control Inspection Requirements
Development Services ensures compliance with Erosion and Sediment Control Regulations as defined in Portland City Code Title 10.
If you have an issued permit for ground disturbing activity, a Pre-Construction Erosion Control Inspection (IVR Inspection #200) is required before you can request or schedule other inspections through IVR. The Pre-Construction Control Inspection covers the temporary erosion, sediment and pollutant control measures required to be installed and inspected prior to any ground disturbance for the project (excluding ground disturbance necessary for the installation of the erosion, sediment and pollutant control measures).
Pre-Construction Erosion Control Inspections (IVR Inspection #200) must be completed and approved before other inspections can be scheduled. If the Pre-Construction Erosion Control Inspection is not approved prior to another scheduled inspection, all other inspection requests will be cancelled and must be rescheduled within the IVR system. Please note: IVR Inspection #210 (Permanent Erosion Control Measures) must also be completed and approved before scheduling IVR Inspection #999 (Final Permit).
