Online Appeals Payment Portal

Effective March 1, 2018 – The Bureau of Development Services is announcing a new online payment portal for building code appeals, in an effort to be more helpful to customers who qualify for an appeal.

The new portal adds two payment options for appeals: credit card and electronic check. In the past, the only way to pay for appeals was either through U.S. Postal Service mail or in-person at the bureau’s Development Services Center in downtown Portland.

Beginning March 1, customers will be able to go to the payment portal and enter their IVR number, along with the payment amount.

Get started using the online appeals payment portal

To get the IVR number and the amount due, send an email to the Appeals Secretary with your appeal ID number and the building address. We will send you the IVR number and what you owe promptly. Customers can then enter their information to make the payment in a safe and secure way.
