Deadline extended: City of Portland seeks experienced electricians passionate about safety to serve on appeals board

The City of Portland seeks two people to each serve a three-year term on the Electrical Code Board of Appeal. Persons of color are encouraged to apply. Applications are due no later than Sunday, Feb. 18.

Fees for building code appeals to increase July 1, 2022

To help cover the costs of intake, review and approval of building code appeals, and due to the increased complexity of processing appeals (building, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and floating structures), the application fees for appeals were increased by the Portland City Council.
