Design Review for a proposed 17-story, approx. 175’-0” tall residential apartment building with 336 dwelling units, comprising a mix of studio to 3-bedroom apartments and structured parking totaling approx. 434,720 SF of new floor area. Structured parking proposed on the site includes 403 spaces spread across levels B2 to 5, and it includes a tunnel under SW Main St to the MAC parking garage to the north of the site. (Note: this tunnel, which is subject to City Council approval and is not subject to Design Review approval, is being evaluated under a separate Major Encroachment Review under case number 20-211803 TR.) The proposal also includes a large amenity deck for residents on level 6 and another amenity deck on level 17. Together, these two amenity decks include outdoor seating areas, barbeque ranges, fire pits, and a small pool.

Design Advice Request to receive feedback on proposed development of two office buildings, including a 4-story building at the corner of NW 24th and Savier and a 1-story building at NW Thurman Street, surface parking and central green space. An Adjustment to reduce the minimum FAR from 1.5:1 to 1.2:1 would be required. A Modification to reduce the required Standard A loading space to a Standard B loading space would be required. A Modification to reduce interior parking lot landscaping may be required. The proposal is expected to be reviewed through Standards rather than Design Review after August 1st.

Design Advice Request for a proposed new 6-story (approx. 68 feet tall), 174 guest room hotel and approx.1,900 square foot commercial/retail space. The building is proposed to be clad with brick at the ground floors and stucco on the upper stories. The ground floor will contain the hotel lobby, restaurant and bar, meeting rooms, fitness space, and the future commercial/retail space, as well as back of house areas. One Standard B loading space is proposed with access off NW Davis St, which will require an Adjustment to loading standards. A Modification to the Required Building Lines – Park Blocks standard may also be needed.
