EA 20-194404 DA - Welby

DAR for a proposed half block, 15-story, mass-timber, mixed-use building in the Pearl District. Proposed program includes two levels of automated below-grade parking accessed from NW Kearney Street, ground-level retail, two levels of office, and residential units and amenity spaces on the top 12 floors. Proposed materials include fiber cement, metal panel, wood at the ground level and punched windows with Juliette balconies. A loading dock is proposed on the NW 13th frontage.

  • SITE: Full block at the southeast corner of SW 20th Ave & Main St

Design Advice Request for a 16 story, 170’-6” tall, 340 unit multi-dwelling residential building in the Goose Hollow Subdistrict of the Central City Plan District. The first four floors of the building comprise a 4-story podium, which is setback from SW 20th Ave, Madison St, and SW 19th Ave and which is partially set into the hillside. This podium will accommodate 405 structured parking spaces with access from SW Main St and will be wrapped with residential dwelling units along all but the SW Main St frontage. A 12-story L-shaped tower of residential dwelling units sits atop the podium. Lobbies to the building lie along SW 19th Ave and at the corner of SW 20th Ave & Main St. Outdoor amenity spaces are proposed at floors 5 and 16. No Modifications or Adjustments to zoning code development standards have been identified at this time.

LU 20-134841 DZM - Multnomah County Behavioral Health Resource Center

Type III Design Review for proposed exterior alterations to the Modish Building and its adjoining parking lot immediately to the north in the Downtown Subdistrict of the Central City Plan District. Proposed alterations to the existing building include accessibility upgrades, replacement and expansion of ground floor storefront and doors, new canopies over sidewalks, replacement of windows on the upper stories, leveling the roof, ecoroof installation, removal of window openings on the south elevation, and installation of new windows and doors on the north elevation. Nine Modifications are requested to required building line, ground floor windows, and windows in street-facing facades standards.
