City Auditor’s Office has adopted the following new administrative rule on an interim basis for no longer than 180 days:
Portland City Charter Section 2-506(a) authorizes the City Auditor to establish rules for the Office of the Auditor and to adopt interim rules without prior notice when finding that failure to act promptly will result in prejudice to the public interest. In preparation for the November 2024 City elections, amendments to the City’s campaign finance rules are proposed to streamline where appropriate and to comply with constitutional and case law requirements. The adopted rules are effective December 5, 2023.
