The City Auditor’s Office proposes updates to the following administrative rules, which are available for public comment for thirty days before adoption: ARA 13.05 and Appendix B of ARA 13.

Notice of Proposed Rulemaking

Portland City Charter Section 2-506(a) authorizes the City Auditor to establish rules for the Office of the Auditor. The City Auditor’s Office proposes the following revised administrative rules for adoption, which are available for public comment for thirty days before adoption:

In preparation for the November 2024 City elections, amendments to the City’s campaign finance rules are proposed to streamline where appropriate and to comply with constitutional and case law requirements.

Deadline for Submitting Comments

The City Auditor invites employees and the public to comment on the proposed revised rules.

To be considered, comments must be received by 5:00 PM on January 10th, 2024.
