Portland City Charter Section 2-506(a) authorizes the City Auditor to establish rules for the Auditor’s Office.
The City Auditor proposes the following revised administrative rule for adoption:
ARA 2.02 – PROHIBITION AGAINST WORKPLACE HARASSMENT, DISCRIMINATION, RACISM, AND RETALIATION (RULE 2.02)
Administrative Rule of the Auditor’s Office (“ARA”) 2.02 sets out the Auditor’s Office policies prohibiting workplace harassment, discrimination, racism, and retaliation in compliance with all legal requirements. This rule is adapted from and consistent with City of Portland Human Resources Administrative Rule 2.02 Prohibition Against Workplace Harassment, Discrimination, and Retaliation.
This version of the rule was revised on October 5, 2020, as an interim rule. The City Auditor now proposes that this version of the rule be adopted as final, to ensure compliance with state law.

Deadline for submitting comments:
The City Auditor invites City employees and the public to comment on the proposed revised rule. To be considered, comments must be received by 5:00 PM on April 29, 2021.
