Request a public communication spot

Information
Public communications provide an opportunity for community members to address Council on a subject of the requester’s choosing for three minutes.

Public communications are heard at regular Council meetings at 9:30 a.m. on the first, second, fourth, and fifth (if applicable) Wednesday and 6:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month. There are five communication spots available at each meeting.

Communication spots must be reserved in advance (same-day registration is not available). Notify the Council Clerk to cancel a reserved communication so the waitlist may be used to fill open spots.

Community members are encouraged to resolve issues directly by contacting the appropriate City department or member of Council for assistance before requesting a public communication. The Ombudsman's Office may also be helpful in resolving concerns.

Individuals must request their own communication using the form below. It is not permitted to substitute speakers after the agenda is published.
