Advisory Boards Volunteer Training

The presentation linked below is an introduction to the ethical obligations that come with serving on City of Portland boards and commissions. This training is intended for City employees and for volunteers who serve on those boards, commissions, panels or workgroups. The presentation includes information on ethical obligations, public meetings and public records.

City employees are encouraged to share these links with volunteers before they serve on a board or commission.  Volunteers are required to review this training before their service begins. If you have any questions about the content of this presentation, please contact the City Attorney’s office for additional guidance.
