An Intellectual Property License Agreement is required for the commercial use of the Portland Oregon Sign. Commercial use does not include personal use, such as photos of yourself that are shared amongst friends and family.

Commercial use is when an individual or company is using the sign for promoting, selling, advertising, or creating for sale, distribution or giveaway, any goods or services that incorporate the Portland Oregon Sign.
Once the application has been submitted, our office will be in contact with you to discuss the License Agreement and verify the information you have provided. (A typical response time is 2-4 business days.) We've improved the application, apply for license agreement using the new application system.
