Above is a visual of the Efiles search page, illustrating search and browse options, with the ability to bookmark or "favorite" certain items the user would like quick access to. There is also a "help" option on this page to aid in the search process. There is a search bar in the center of this graphic, which is used for typing a description of the records one is looking for, with the ability to apply filters, such as "electronic" records and "archival records". Lastly, this image illustrates that there is an "advanced" search option, which provides the researcher with an enhanced search option, to conduct more specific searches.

Efiles is used by the City of Portland Auditor's Office to make available online City records such as ordinances, resolutions, City Council minutes, historical documents and photographs.
