TRIM (Content Manager) is an electronic records management application administered by the Archives and Records Management Division of the City Auditor’s office.  Content Manager is used for both enterprise-wide and bureau-specific functions requiring document management, fulfilling legal requirements for retention and access, and for improving workflows.

TRIM is a State of Oregon-certified records management application that functions much like a physical records center.  TRIM stores electronic records, manages security and access for those records, and applies retention schedules so that all public records are professionally maintained according to applicable State and City laws.  Archives and Records Management has managed this system since 2001.  Used by a wide-range of industries and institutions, including the State of Oregon, US Department of the Navy, and the Australian Government, TRIM (Content Manager) continues to be a leader in electronic records management solutions.

TRIM integrates with Office 365 (incl. Teams), individual or shared folders on network drives, and with specific business applications, such as Amanda. Content Manager accepts records created from any application including e-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD drawings, TIFs, JPEGs, PDFs, MP3s, MPGs, etc..
